Would your organisation like to learn how to become a more inclusive employer? This OIEP HR Network Seminar will provide you with information on how you could support people who are unemployed into work. Employers investing in assisting unemployed people to find jobs can help reduce skills shortages and other recruitment difficulties, increase the diversity of their workforces and could contribute to fulfilling their corporate social responsibility objectives.
Unemployed people are not an homogeneous group and have different circumstances, experience and responsibilities. But many of those who have been out of work for some time may lack the confidence and the tools to apply for a job or attend an interview. Hear from expert speakers from Fedcap and the Department of Work and Pensions as well as businesses that have put in place initiatives to support people into employment.
